Im trying to catch up super quick, as I’ve mentioned in. a few of these articles, so the photos come out more or less at the same time as the videos as a nice compliment for those who like photos. I’ve been saying a lot less on here as I feel I cover most of it in the Videos on the YouTube channel, and im pretty sure 99% of the people who come here to see these posts are here after watching the video, so ill keep my rambling brief, maybe I should keep the blog posts for getting into more detail on cars if it allows?
Im open to suggestions as to what people want to see on here. I still have a dedicated selection of people who check the blog, so Im adamant about keeping it running as a nice archive for things, too. This visit to Redline almost didn’t happen. Colton missed the email, but he was such a nice guy and gave us the grand tour of his collection. I’ll let these legends speak for themselves in the photos below. We visit a private stash of Top Secret cars built by Smokey Nagata and a collection of D1 GP Cars at Redline Restorations.

The night wasn’t over yet; we decided, since we were on the outskirts of Tokyo, we would head towards Daikoku. It was a Wednesday night. Still, we had nothing else to do; Thursday was our only day to drop the parts off at the Japanese JDM Distro warehouse, so we had to stick around the greater Tokyo area.

A chance encounter with Smokey Nagata and Hiroshi Tamura, otherwise known as MR GTR at Daikoku PA. We also stop at a few legendary AE86 shops and drop the gold bonnet off at JDM Distro.

After our visit to RWB we pushed on further into the outskirts of Tokyo. One shop which was not too far from RWB is called G Corporation, another on the must-see list for a long time, we had to go. I’ve always been a huge fan of their S-Chassis kits and outlandish paint work.

On a drive through the land of cheese aka Michelstown Co Cork we stumbled upon this stunning Gold GTR as it pulled out of a service station and headed off down the road. Like a child over reacting we tried our hardest to track down the owner in the next 30 minutes just to have a chat with him as you don’t see these beauties very often on the roads any more due to the Irish government screwing people for Tax. After a bit of help we managed to track down the owner and have a small chat, took a photo of the car which is one of the nicest BNR32’s we’ve ever come across sitting on a set of CST Hyper wheels I haven’t seen to many pairs of over the years seen here an a very delicious offset. Always nice to be surprised by a 32 GTR, and even better when its a stunner, more on this work in progress over the coming year!
