So these snaps are a little later than I expected, I’ve been swamped the last month juggling stuff for the site, life and the new child aka the JB vlogs. Between doing those and trying to find time after working a nine to five and still have somewhat of a life has proven to be quite the task.
I didn’t want to miss this event. Last year Flip made the drive up and any of the photos I had seen from the day were amazing. The days of seeing Hondas out in the open have quickly disappeared. It seems the bad image the Honda had just over four years ago has vanished.
The AE86 is an infectious machine, I’m sure by now you know that we actively push any chance to showcase one on here and this was no exception.
I’m constantly reminding myself just how lucky we are to have such a solid car scene for such a small little country. Time and time again I’m left floored by the cars that are on this Island.
So a fresh year is upon us with the Irish automotive calendar. We decided to check out what was happening and modified live. IDC was in full swing and as we discussed before, the event gets more than its share of coverage so it’s unnecessary for us to be giving it full coverage.
The Irish car shed doesn’t get as much credit as it deserves, Sheds are the backbone of our car scene, the anchors to every good build.
What started out as a bit of a Joke on the Internet the other day ended up luring us out on a freezing Friday night standing around in the dark with friends. We were almost excited at the fact this “Cruise” was going down.
“Cruises” have been a part of car culture for as long as I can remember, in all shapes and sizes they have always happened. Its a different kind of nightlife.
Japan has been good to us. This country has seen some great cars land here over the years. In almost every category we have imported some of the best. It amazes that after fiteen or more years of plucking the gold, time and time again amazing machines like this end up on the docks in Dublin.
