With the lads gone home, I got a train back to Osaka and hooked up with Alex from Circuit Soul. I was meeting up with Rob later in the evening, so I decided to make my way into Dontonbori to wait for Alex. I had a look around and somehow found the 4A-GE vending machine! This little vending machine was so incredible to see in real life. I spent about twenty euros in Yen trying to find all the engines.
Once I linked up with Alex, we made our way to Aslan to Kill and checked out their shop; there are still quite a few Honda shops in Osaka, which I haven’t had the chance to see, and this was one of them.

I love their EG time attack car; it’s incredible. The owner was busy, so we only poked him a little. We left after half an hour of looking around and buying some stickers. That night, I hooked up with Rob, and we got some grub and drove around Osaka in his TE27.

The next day, we went to the USS Tokyo Auctions to pick up a low KM R34 GTR, which was quite the experience. I took a few photos that day as we walked the auction lots, and I’ll post them below with the rest of the images from this couple of days. It was truly unique stuff that I had the chance to see, which, funnily enough, was just another day in Rob’s life.

I’m going to let the photos do most of the talking here. An all-AE86 4AGE event at Meihan was a severe bucket list scenario, and it was incredible to witness this. Taking the chance to stay in Japan for another week to drive my Levin and experience this day was one of the best choices I’ve made in life! It financially did a number on me but being honest I wont look back at that aspect of it in years to come. I love unexpected nights like this, this stuff is always going on I just never want to shed too much heat onto lads who are out letting off some steam using their pride and joy. I think I’ve been documenting various lads and groups going night drifting for a long time, it’s well planned out, and low-key, the lads are out there to let off some steam usually on a dead-end road which we have been blessed to call a local area, it’s a quick burst of skids and then its time to go.

New camshafts and first rings in the AE86 Trueno before it goes to paint.

We refreshed the AE86’s cam cover with some sparkle paint and give the BMW some attention.

Check out this photo set from our recent video featuring a rare AE70 Sprinter, a variation of the popular Corolla chassis commonly referred to as the ke70 in most parts of the world. This car is so rare that the owner wasn’t even aware of its uniqueness, with its redesigned B and C pillar, different rear end, and different front end.
On a lovely, rare sunny evening, we met up with Liam after work to get a closer look at this car, which Liam had just finished. The modifications made to this rare example of the E70 platform are spot-on. The simple SSR MK 2 wheels require no arch flair, and the tire and ride height combination is perfect. The interior has been left mostly stock, with a few choice modifications such as a steering wheel, an Omori rev gauge, and a shift knob. The Sprinter blue with optional mats are fantastic, and the eighties interior is in excellent condition, especially considering this car has less than 70k on the clock, which is remarkable for a car from 1982.

A close look at a rare 4A-GE KE70/AE70 Corolla Sprinter Sedan

Shane is a reserved character. Like I said in the recent video about this car, he keeps to himself. On social media, the odd post here or there about his car pops up, and he’s never actively posting the cool stuff he’s posting in his shed at home.

When I saw his Levin pop up online, it instantly caught my attention. Inspired by the Young Version / Run free collaboration car that famously graced the pages of Hyper Rev magazine and was done pretty much to perfection, I had to reach out and chat.

We fit the new exhaust, but it doesn’t go to plan. To save the day, we repair the new AE86 dashboard.
