I’m not going to say a lot here, the images speak for themselves, here are the photos to accompany the Honda day from 2019 when we had the EK4 out on the track. It’s hard to put into words just how fun these noisy little Hondas are until you’ve driven one, and when you drive a proper sorted one the track on the limit, it only amplifies the pleasure in these Econo small cars. You can punish them, and they keep coming back for more! 

The noise makes you feel like you are doing ten times the speed, the oversteer, the bang of Vtec lad! Honda knew what they were doing with the first twenty years of simplistic Vtec machines; anyways, ill leave it here. Hope you enjoy these pics.

Remember our EK4 Civic? We give it a quick makeover and take it to an epic Honda only day at Mondello Circuit.



D-Mac reminisces about building his AE86 to compete in D1 during the golden years of drifting, we get a tour of the shop and encounter the strongest Irish accent.

We head to Group D, run by the legendary AE86 and Formula D driver Darren McNamara to buy some rear coil-overs for the Trueno, this is a two-part episode as we covered a lot during the visit. Enjoy!

We give the sketchiest E36 in Ireland some much-needed love before a drift day with fresh Coilovers from Maxpeeding Rods, brand new bushings and a slightly decent exhaust system.



Big steps! The AE86 gets a coat of fresh paint after two years as a bare shell! Jackie finished the seam sealer inside the Trueno and we fit a radiator to the E36.



We drive a Ralliart Mitsubishi Colt Version R, the last hot hatch from a company that gave us so many great cars. We also drive its older brother, the Mivec Mirage Cyborg ZR. Enjoy this rare Mitsubishi distraction.



How about some Trueno progress? We move the AE86 shell over to Flip’s paint booth to get the bottom end ready for its final coat of paint.



We check out a Mitsubishi Turbo Kei car you’ve probably never heard of called an “EK” this is not to be confused with a Civic. Josh get his M3 powered E30 running for the first time.



What does my AE86, Initial D and Takumi have to do with each other? Back in 2006 the voice actor for Takumi, Shin-ichiro Miki showcased my AE86’s engine bay on a Japanese TV show. They follow him around in his Initial D Trueno as he talked to like-minded enthusiasts about the chassis. These findings led me down a rabbit hole to try and map my Trueno’s history.
