The weather had managed to hold off, all it needed to do now was stay dry for just another couple of hours and everything would work for the better. The clouds were getting darker and it looked like mother nature was going against everyone but then Aaron came out blasting the Foo fighters and everything seemed to be just fine!
Lets continue where we stopped with part 1, looking at some super nice examples of some of the countries nicest ae86’s.
The weather was sketchy, but it managed to hold off. Thankfully we didn’t have a repeat of last year. Which as you can remember was a bad time.
The bar was raised with some of the cars that were on show this year, there really is a lot of clean cars coming out of the woodwork and its definitely nice to see.
Yup, its about that time. Where we go lurk the car park of another car show to see what the people are driving. Its always a good insight into the scene itself to see what people are driving, and usually you will find something good or something very bad. Check it out.

As we arrived down at 9 the fog was not moving . Behind the mist we could see the faint sun . The drivers were called up to the briefing and as they were finished the sun had brunt all the fog away . There are not many days were you can say you have worn a t-shirt in Mondello , as some say its one of the coldest places in Ireland but today was going to be a hot one.The day was as the title suggests about practice and anyone can do it . Yes it is August, and yes this was in May, but i managed to corrupt a memory card which I had taken these photos on. The other day it magically worked for some reason and I grabbed all the pictures off the card before it decided to have another time of the month. I felt it was too late for the pictures but then thought, fuck it better late then never right? Your probably also wondering where is time attack round 3 and so on, well its hard to get up the country every time its on, if anyone is heading that direction on a day, throw me a lift and Ill be all over these events. This isint the usual event coverage article, but more a collection of the pictures from that day.
I hadnt been to Tullow since the first day when they were trying out the track. Each time it was on I either couldnt get a lift to cover it or something else was on. I finally got the chance today and it was cool to see that the event had grown. More and more people seem to be showing up becuase of the freedom of paying and racing your face off for the day. What could be wrong with that?

Gearoid sent me on some of his snaps from the Modball 2010. Looked like a proper good time. The 2010 route saw 74 cars travel from London to the continent and back to London via Le Mans, San Sebastian, Madrid, Barcelona, Monaco and Geneva, partying at every stop. It definietly sounds like alot of fun.
This years Sleek Fx brought some new cars to display. Some good and some that would leave you scratching your head for days. The weather was that typical “is it going to rain? “weather. So all day we were waiting for it to pour but it managed to hold and everyone could enjoy being dry whilst checking out some drag racing and the cars.
So here it is. Another installment of car park watch. The reason we do this, is to see what the people (which is you) drive. Just because something doesn’t get to be on show or in a show doesn’t mean its not worthy of some attention. Most of the time you will find something which you would wish was in the shows or the total opposite. Limerick brought a nice crowd and some cool cars in the car park. Check em out…
Another round of Prodrift, and another Irish car show where mother nature was good to us. I have to give a big shout to Simon Connaughton for hooking me up with images of the final 16. We ended up getting in a crash the night before Prodrift and decided to be cool and stay up buzzing from what happened and drove to Dublin. What a bad choice, as soon as the ” adrenaline” and monster (thank fuck for that but only sometimes because you will piss green) we collapsed and the stiffness settled in. All good fun.. Sort of.
A lot of people seemed to enjoy the amount of coverage from the last event picture wise so we decided to go for it again. Many sites and stuff regulate the amount of pictures that go up, fuck it were going to stick up as much that was good about something as possible. There is always stuff going on off the track that’s always worth the coverage also. Either way here is what we got from the Sunday. There was a show of cars inside this crazy arena style shed which looked like something made for the x-games. Anyways on with the pics.
Another Irish car event. Another round of prodrift, and another round of car watching. The reason we do this is to show whats going on in the car scene in Ireland from the normal point of view. To see what the people drive. This time there wasnt as much cars in the car parks, or maybe we missed a car park, city west was in sections so it was weird to get around and stuff. Nonetheless, here is another installment of carpark watch.
I’m glad the paddock section went down well. I figured that there were too many snaps but I guess you can never have too much. This year the course had been made shorter due to some new buildings but this certainly didn’t spoil the entertainment.
