Hachiroku Heaven: The Car Park At 86 fest

I think we talked enough about this Truck in the videos so ill just leave the photos to speak for themselves. This was probably the most Japanese Automotive related machine I have ever seen in my life. Something that could only exist in Japan.

The car park to the event was filled with all sorts of stuff that would rival any car show in the world. I love walking around event car parks just to see what’s out there, you usually end up finding cars that are just as good if not better. Look how cool this FD looked on the back of this truck.

The level of dedication and work that went onto building this is truly something else.

How about this stunning TE27 Corolla, I wish it wasn’t parked up against the fence I would have loved a few more photos.

Parked next to it was an immaculate TE71 liftback on 13-inch mesh wheels.

They made a nice pair at the end of the car park.

This Starion was probably one of the top five I have ever seen in my life, and here it was just casually parked at this event. I love Japan!

Right across from the Starion was this pair, full Tec Arts kitted Trueno with Jblood fenders sitting pretty on Dori Mesh wheels. What a combo.

Makes you wonder why this wasn’t inside at the show, I guess that’s just Japan!

What a beauty…

The car park felt like another car show, as we made our way through the trucks and cars we were left floored time and time again by the sheer level of jaw-dropping stuff. I was capturing photos that I would find on the web, save and add to a folder.

I love it when people with the same chassis park next to each other. A bone stock SW20 parked next to a lightly modified example on P1’s.

Two Carinas that never made it to Ireland. I’m pretty sure that’s a Primer GT bumper on the left one.

Another beauty that I didn’t spot inside. The Bronze against the purple is a good look.

How’s this for a view? This is something you would only really see in a car park in Japan.

I love these Swifts, I wish people would appreciate them more outside of Japan.

Another view that stopped us straight in our tracks a pair of Corollas sitting right.

I love the look of the e70 high roof van sitting on Colin Star Sharks. The engine bay is a work of art on this thing, its a shame I couldn’t get a snap.

Out in the car park, these two were the first thing we saw when we stepped out of the van.

Along with this new-ish roadster sitting on Evo Nine wheels, a combination you’d never expect but it works very well.

We had to pull ourselves away from the car park, there were way too many distractions.

Always nice to see a proper looking RX8, we didn’t see too many on this trip.

Love this!

Even french cars look cooler in Japan!

A Lisse Model KP61 K3, the Lisse trim was marketed at women back in the eighties with pink accents on the belts and interior trim.  What a rare treat chilling in the car park.

Casual sights, we skimmed through the car park as we really started running out of time.

Car after car, we almost felt bad skimming over stuff like this but when you end up at an event of this scale with an overwhelming about to look at, it’s impossible to really absorb it all.

And this! Check that body kit.

Cool to see the next-gen 86 getting similar treatment.

There’s a lot more in the video which I’m sure you’ve seen if you are reading this article.

So ill leave it here again with another two photos of the most mental Truck I’ve ever seen in my entire life…

Only in Japan…
