Photos Unboxed: The March’s Last Days On The Road.
This was the Nissan March’s last shoot before we raised it. I tried to get it through a test and ultimately had to face the fact this was no longer the machine for the long 220km commute I have to do every day driving up and down to JDM Distro.
I do miss driving this thing, it sat up for over a year, and time hasn’t been the kindest to it sitting outside. It almost makes me sad looking at these photos of it looking like a badass little nugget sitting here against the backdrop of Arklows best car shoot spot, which, unfortunately, they have painted over since we took these photos. The plan is to get this little nugget of joy back on the road over the next few months. Time and money are always against me!
It was such a fun little project turning a mundane little commuter into something that made people smile, took them out of their comfort zone and admit they liked the look of a Nissan Micra/March. I got a kick out of the vision of turning what is considered a nanny commuter machine here in Ireland into a funny blue little race looking nugget of fun.
