The Bride AE86 Resurrection
A few shots of the Bride AE86 Ressurection. I shot these photos shortly after our BBq last year to tie into the story from the rebuild . Like all of the photos the last while on the site, I feel like we talked enough in the videos, so thimagesos are for old-school lads who still enjoy a bit of photography, digesting the cars at a much slower pace. (I’m still one of those people, and I adore shooting cars whenever we get the chance) I hope these photos are an excellent addition to our coveron this buildĀ I could write forever here about how good this thing is, and just how incredible this story is, but ill let the photos do most of the talking.
The lads nailed it with this loo, for such a short timeframe, the colourr, the graphics, everything is on point. Even down to the black headlight covers, Yuasa painted his ones black back in the day. We rolled the car over to a lesser used part of the business park and caught the golden hour, using a 300mm as I tried to mimic the older style you see in Battle Magazine or Doriten.
The Bn kit suits this wild look, the car really was ahead of its time.
The Bn kit suits the SR Swap and wild appearances, the engine and looks are in sync.
I find it fascinating just how many forms the 86 can take, from OEM to the other end of the spectrum.
Trying to keep up with the competitors of the time, Yuasa felt the SR was his only option.
The old switch panel from the Shino Kouba Yellow time attack machine.
I could stare at this forever.
A collaboration from friends Eddie Quirke, was a huge help on the build.
It was a bit of a mission for Paddy to find the right wheels, Dori meshes have spiralled price-wise.
Yuasa’s name proud on the door!
I’ll leave it here, the photos should do the talking with this one, for anything else check out the video we did on the channel.
Cheers
