Strawberry Masa
A few months ago a few mates had come across the Ocean from France to pick up this beauty. I decided to grab a few snaps before she made her way back. I’ve always enjoyed this car. It wears the Garage Masa have the M kit which adds the strawberry face to the s14. Sometimes 15 front on a 14 doesn’t work too good as a conversion as the strawberry front is a little sharper towards the more relaxed lines of the s14, but Ive always like the Masa kit conversion, its a pretty beefy aero kit which doesn’t look out of place.
This is such an awesome package, the guys were collecting it for a friend in France, these are the same guys who bought the red so you can be sure this car will be in good hands. Inside you can see a Nardi, a sat nav for the guys to get back!, a Cusco flyoff and a pair of Bride Brix 2 seats in black, other goodies include a collection of Defi gauges and a Greddy Profec 2.
The car has been finished very nicely in a Nissan lightening yellow with a blue and silver flake. The wheel choice also as good, a set of Work CR Kiwiami in the classic 17 x 9 up front and 18 x 9.5 the back. This thing is loaded with handling goodies such as Cusco tension rods, HSD coilovers and 4 pot brakes from an R33 Skyline.
I wish I had got a better imagine of this bay, one of the nicest 1JZ conversions to a 14 I had ever seen. A very unsuspecting lump accompanied by a very nice install hiding the fuses in the glove box and battery in the boot and a coat of metallic blue with custom engine mounts, downpipe and intercooler piping. Cooling this Jay Z is a Japspeed radiator and a Greddy intercooler. The rocker cover and turbo hardpipes are finished in chrome. Other enjoyables extras to note would be the Nismo fuel pump and z32 filter and an ACT extreme clutch and light weight flywheel.
I like the simplicity of the car, the Kouki back lights even the reserved beefy lines of the kit along with the classic 17/18 CRK-AI’s. One of the nicer cars that has gone up for sale in Ireland in awhile and its a shame it has left out shores but I’m glad it wasn’t killed for parts or track murdered. It has gone to a good home.
