Chocolate Roadster
Ive always been a huge fan of the Original Miata/mx5 or roadster as it was known in Japan. With such a subtle collection of modifications they can become such an amazing little car to both drive and look at. I got an email a couple of months back about one that was being put together, due to the rise in popularity of these cars (which is always a good thing) I was intrigued as to what pictures lay inside the message.
Inside I found images of a very simple but well put together litttle Mazda. Its always a breath of fresh air to see someone splash out and get the right parts that will stand to the car in time. Brown is pretty in right now in the car scene, not only in the modification world but also in the manufacturer world.
With this love for the brown growing, an entire new range of enjoyable colours are continually popping up or out. This Roadster has been wrapped in Marrakech brown. The arches have been rolled and flared, and the addition of a hard top, a Garage vary front lip, feed style side steps boot spoiler and roof spoiler the outside looks pretty damn good.
Inside the little Mazda has been refitted with a Nardi deep corn and a Drift works snap off kit.
The original Nardi stuff has been swapped out for a Pink dildo shift knob and other goodies include magical alpine double din discotech.
With the roof off the bright red Bride zeta 2 drivers seat pops out nicely against the brown. John has more plans for the inside but for now, this will do more than enough.
The wheel choice was a rare set of 4×100 Ssr professor sp1s, dark chrome 15×8.5 +2 on the rear and 15×8 -4 on the front. The chrome wheels bounce nicely off of the brown.
John also went for clear indicators and reflectors, the roadster has also been fitted with a 1.8 diff with a spot of weld, 1.8 shafts and 1.8 hubs and discs, John plans on dropping a 1.8 turbo setup into the car once funds allow.
I really enjoy this car, its simple fun and nicely put together. John loves it too, he said its top fun to drive looks good and makes you smile. Something to play in, anytime you see one this low done to a good standard you cant help but stare at that little open mouthed front end. Good shit!
