Event: Dubshed PT2
The level of cars at Dubshed was very surprising to be honest. Most of the cars both inside and outside the sheds were top notch. Even in the picture above you can get a glimpse of just how fantastic the penis on the roof of this Passat was. The attention to detail was superb.
Another chalk board Passat was showing up interesting results from the students.
The New beetle should have came standard with these eyelids. It almost looked like it was about to speak.
Too much call of duty! Ready for combat Polo.
Better fitment in the wheel department and this A6 would have been a whole different car. Especially when your rolling on Bentley wheels.
Even pictures cannot tone this colour down. This A4 Bora could almost be used as a backup sun.
This van was getting mixed feelings all day, most people were probably just amazed at how shiny and low it is for a Caddy. It was almost impossible to take a photo without it looking like a mirror. Check the molded roof spoiler. Cleanest Caddy ever!
You would almost forget how good an Audi A4 can look. This B7 on Rotiform BLQ’s just went and took a shit on the “felt look”.
Back inside the shed the cars never ceased to impress, like this particularly awesome MK4 Golf on some 19″ Carlsson 1/12’s
More poke
This MK1 was one of the coolest cars on display. The perfect combination of form and function.
Super clean Mk2 Gti on baby blue OZ turbo’s and themed grill and badges.
Another awesome BBS Mk2 combo meal deal.
Tommy’s static Golf/Jetta variant was looking good. Too bad I forgot to shoot it from the front! Expect more on this car real soon.
Yes you can imagine that this Porsche 356 spyder was sticking out like a sore thumb all day amongst a sea of VW’s. The brown finish was superb.
These Speedline TechArt Daytona’s looked so damn good under this MK4.
This Mk3 was gathering crazy attention throughout the day and not just because of how low it was sitting.
How about that red leather Audi TT interior?
I really wish that the bonnet was open that little bit more for you to fully appreciate how clean and tucked this engine was. What a crazy build.
Another MK5 with another beefy rear wheel setup.
Crazy deep OZ futura’s and some Baby blue complimented by chrome. It almost looked RWD!
Walking into the last of the sheds we spotted this crazy little Lupo. Usually I would never be that excited about a Lupo but for some reason this one looked awesome.
The Tramont TY2’s are such an great looking wheel, a French flatter version of the SSR MK2.
The Lupo even had a vinyl stitched roof!
Interesting wheel choice on this MK5 from a Z40/sc430 Soarer.
There really was no shortage of clean cars, everywhere you turned there was another, and then another!
Image billet 19’s
Which looked surprisingly good on this clean A4.
Whats not to like about a clean MK4 on Alphards?
I’m glad I got a shot of this MK3 before it left. The brown paint job was so deep and tasty looking.
One of the coolest cars of the day was John Peden’s on the floor 911 Carrera. A car that many either loved or hated. It certainly gained a lot of attention.
The show itself really had some superb cars on display and had a mega turnout beyond expectations. Almost everything was top notch and it became the norm as you looked at car after car. You’d almost forget that once you head back outside the gate and begin your journey home, you wouldn’t be coming across to many German creations like that again. Another slice of the car culture at its finest.
