Garage Life: Juicebox x Tyteslippers

Its funny, Greystones was voted the nicest place to live in Ireland, that can definitely bee seen by the weather in this picture. This view is so unusual for Ireland, not a grey cloud for miles! On an usually nice weekend, we decided to head for Greystones to spin up with the guys from Tyteslippers and talk some shit for a day. Why you may ask? Well because they have some cool as shit cars and the direction they are going with them is what this site is all about.

This is what I mean, Timmys Roadster is badass looking, a car which is overlooked by so many  people. The people who drive these cars usually aren’t the type of people who would be taking them sideways, or the type of people who would have them about an inch from the ground on some white steelies! That’s why this car is cool. I’m sure many will disagree but the mx5 can look so damn good when it has the right stance and wheels like above.

Another one of the cars was Pete’s A31, this car is full of win. The SSR SP1’s with the black spokes are lurking right out to the edge of the arches and beyond, not a familiar car in our country but Pete is doing a proper job of making one look amazing.

We found this epic shell of a warehouse, and decided it was time for some photos of the cars and of the magic shamrock hand of doom. Greystones definitely is a nice place to be, I was amazed at how sunny it was, wondering if its always like this up there haha. Maybe it is…..

This was amazing, watching Timmy get the car out off of a curb being that low, and then some more! Simon’s mz20 was lurking in the background.

This snap does a good job showing just how low Timmy’s Roadster really is! Many would ask why would anyone even want a car that low, it will scrape and do this and do that. Either way you want to look at this, he uses the car as a daily driver on Irish roads and is also used for some skid action. On top of all that it looks so damn good. Its amazing what some low action and the right wheels can do to the overall look of an otherwise stock bodied car.

We decided to hit the road for some adventure’s haha. This car is amazing, Simon’s mz20 is definitely a rare car on our shores. Also a work in progress but is definitely holding its on as it is!

We hit the N11, traffic was everywhere as this is one of the busiest roads in our country, this didn’t seem to stop us from slowing right down for some rolling shots!

Other motorists definitely didn’t enjoy this sight. Especially on a busy day, but it must have been an unfamiliar sight for many of the causal commuters.

We took an exit onto what seemed to be a quiet enough roundabout. These guys more or less live next to a shit load of roundabouts and on and off ramps to the motorway. These can come in very handy indeed for a bit of dorifuto action. Many would argue that this is stupid, but you cant deny that street drifting always looks damn good and is a whole different game as you have to spot and watch for cars and police. It makes that slide all the more worth it.

Simon had only recently bought the mz20, but he was already after figuring out the car and was putting it to the test in some of  Wicklow’s finest roundabouts. We couldn’t stay in the same location for too long as it would only attract attention. Remember this was in the middle of the day and that made it even more intense.

This picture definitely sums up the whole idea of why people have the cars they have, why people actually are interested in cars and strive to build something that can be an extension of who they are and what they like… (deep) haha.  But really, you are into this because you don’t want to be the Yaris driver tipping along going from A to B listening to 2fm. Instead many of us would enjoy the Cefiro to the left, with all of its luxury’s stripped out as you are strapped in listening to the sound of a straight through coming from an rb20.

Check the video above for more action of the day, expect more to come from these guys over the coming months on the site and be sure to check out Tyteslippers for more cool stuff.
