Event: Tullow Drag Days - Juiceboxforyou

I hadnt been to Tullow since the first day when they were trying out the track. Each time it was on I either couldnt get a lift to cover it or something else was on. I finally got the chance today and it was cool to see that the event had grown. More and more people seem to be showing up becuase of the freedom of paying and racing your face off for the day. What could be wrong with that?

After about an the place started to fill up. A big change to the first time we got to cover the event.

Honda’s are definitely dominating the drag scene in Ireland. We must have the most JDM DC2 type r’s in the world now, or somewhere close at least.

This ek was rocking some Sprint Hart CPR’s.

I was enjoying this DA on the Rota flashbacks, Im sure it looks alot better with a bit of a scrub.

Nice to see two Different gen integras dragging side by side.

This shark fin is a bad time.

Teejay brought his sad face drift spec ep82.

It really should have been called Tullow Honda drag day!

But then this broke up the mix, it was definitely fun to see random stuff like a quad drag race.

Its cool, because anything can show up and just go for it!

Back to Honda’s, but that’s not such a bad thing with this tasty EK9.

Or this savage looking Ferio on some RnR’s.

Or that EG Ferio on Mugen RnR’s. It was cool to see both generation civic Ferios rocking more or less the same look.

This EG6 was looking good on those Enkei rp1’s.

You cant get more of an Irish backdrop then this, and then you add  two Japanese Dc2’s battling it out next to some sheep in a field!

I decided to Join the sheep to get some more snaps.

Jamie and his EG make for a nice picture.

The whole setup had the same feel as a Windows Desktop background. Its such a crazy location watching cars launch down the track between a split field. Either way it looks damn cool.

1999 came for a look.

But came wearing some sexy Volk GT-C wheels.

The Bomex front bumper is some ugly stuff. This car was a proper blast from past.

Barry was having a good time in his EK battling another.

This Dc2 was hitting the spot.

Then more people came, and it got that little bit hotter and a shit load of Bee’s came on the scene to annoy everyone!

Damn, everything in this picture is a Honda, and nearly everything is white!

Jamie rolled up in his EG6.

So did Track Day Performance in their Turbo ek.

Then they had a battle, NA vs Turbo!! TDP’s EK couldnt keep to Jamies Na EG6. Gotta love that little yellow Honda!

Overall it was a good day. Its pretty cool that this event is growing and growing. Its great to see, and with the growth can only come good things. Hopefully we can get up to more of these. If you want any of these snaps to be posted as a desktop, throw a comment below and we can get it sorted!
