Event: Mondello Time attack round 2 (The lost pics)
Yes it is August, and yes this was in May, but i managed to corrupt a memory card which I had taken these photos on. The other day it magically worked for some reason and I grabbed all the pictures off the card before it decided to have another time of the month. I felt it was too late for the pictures but then thought, fuck it better late then never right? Your probably also wondering where is time attack round 3 and so on, well its hard to get up the country every time its on, if anyone is heading that direction on a day, throw me a lift and Ill be all over these events. This isint the usual event coverage article, but more a collection of the pictures from that day.
I was stopped in my tracks walking over to the pits by a small, but nice line-up of cars in the car park.
This VIP looking c35 laurel was a definite winner.
Same goes for this r34 on those bronze Work cr-kai’s.
If it wasn’t for the electricity box and the Irish plate, this would look like Japan!
Turbo 4E-FTE in an EP70?
Pimp trailer on some Watanabe’s
The sun came out for a small time, which always makes for nice pics.
I love this AE92.
Keith wasn’t having a good day in the crx.
Neil Dunne’s s13 was looking damn cool, and clocking some good times.
Clocking a time of 1:01.782 giving him second place in the pro class on the day.
This CRX was abit of a wolf in sheep’s clothing…
The car was to be sprayed after I took the photos, but I enjoyed the dodgy look on the outside!
The coture auto EVO 6 was looking mean.
Jason Carolan put a 1:03.657 down on the day in his 5zigen schemed b18 powered EG.
Gordon O’Duinn clocked a 1:06.657 in his EP on the day.
Spotted this complete winner outside on some Professor sp1’s.
And this s15 never fails at looking good on those Volk gt-v’s. Sorry that there wasn’t more images or that there wasn’t a better wording to go with them. I’m sure you know what went down on the day, hopefully we can get to cover more of these, and I hope my equipment doesn’t fail.
