The JZX100, a car that has always been at the top of the list of four doors to own… for some reason the idea of owning any of the Chaser, Cresta, or Mk2’s line has always appealed more than owning a Mercedes or BMW FR platform. The fact that Japan even created the cars and built each of the three with the same chassis but top half for a different reason is too awesome. They are just bad ass… simple as, in any colour or form. This example ticks all the right boxes…
For Ireland, a car like this is somewhat ahead of its time… It’s almost a vision of what someone will do in twenty years from now, when there won’t be a whole amount of these Nissans on the road… Everything about this car is not the ordinary guise for an s14 Silvia… The car is not covered in cable ties, doesn’t have ropey panels and isn’t what you would call a drift slag, which by all means is awesome, don’t get me wrong, but what is awesome about this car is how it was planned out and built, everything is super subtle and looks almost factory.
It doesn’t get more timeless then this, a white EK9 sitting on Desmond Regamaster EVOs. Show me this car in another 10 years and regardless of what trends are around then I’m sure it will retain the same appeal.
The Mk2 Golf has always been a true favourite amongst car lovers, in the last few years they have become quite scarce site and even quite a few that are left are either a mint GTI something in between or a standard clean example. Rob decided to build this MK2 on a budget, attending college and trying to build any sort of car is definitely not an easy task. Truth being his budget was pretty limited but that didn’t stop him from using his head and turning out an awesome result.
The R32 is by far one of the most popular cars to come out of Japan. The BNR32GTR is by far one of the best cars ever made; it was almost unbeaten in the N1 category in Japan during its reign of terror. The car really pushed what was possible handling and electronics wise at that time. What is so good about this R32 Skyline is that it started life as an a lower base model, the GTS-T sporting an RB20DET and a Rear wheel drive setup. The lower model R32’s always lived in the shadow of the higher spec GTR model amongst hardcore Skyline Fans, but that didn’t stop anyone’s visions of creating the perfect R32 without having a GTR. This GTS-T was torn down and rebuilt from the ground up.
I think many people have that folder on their computer where they have saved cars which jumped out from the computer screen. While looking through my stupidly big stash, this instantly caught my eye and I had to put it on the site. This is pretty much a flawless execution of the EK hatch. Many argue that 16’s are too big for a civic but these Regamasters are absolutely at home under this Yellow EK, which is sitting more then perfect might I ad.
It only takes one glance to realise something special is going on with this E46. The car has a timeless simple look. The execution is factory like. What makes this E46 even more interesting is the fact it’s not an M series. The car itself started its life as a silver e46 325 which opened a black hole and a mission to create the perfect E46 from a blank canvas.
This is truly a nice example of a super clean E36 just spotted on stancworks, who knew that 93-96 corvette wheels would work so well? The green really does work here as it lurks in behind the spokes. Its very subtle but very noticeable. So much potential with these cars and this is a very fine example of a minimal but very original E36 coupe.
This car is definitely a love/ hate situation, there will be many people who will hate how this is covered in giraffe/ leopard print and others will think its unique and kind of cool.
Personally i think its pretty fucking cool. Its different and it stands and doesn’t really take from the car or look tacky. What you think?
Ive seen a lot of tasty looking mx5’s or miata’s coming out of the US lately and the UK. Ill stick more up over the coming weeks. Not too much floating around spec wise on this all i know is its turboed. Its mad to see that the whole stance and look of the car changes by getting it to sit right on some Work meister wheels. Good stuff.
