I have a lot of respect for Bryan, I’d be completely lost without him steering the ship on this build, when things get a little daunting, he’s usually there throwing some sort of suggestion or idea that saves the day. A few nights before the car went for paint we installed the Tomei Poncams, and it really opened my eyes up to just how much effort goes into this stuff. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves here, Im sure most of you landed here due to the videos, as I’ve mentioned many times Im incredibly grateful to be surrounded by the right kind of people on this build.
Sometimes you have a very brief encounter with a car. I’m glad I snapped a few photos of this S15 when I had the chance. This car was quite famous in Ireland back in 2007-2008. Ray Tsang built this car using the finest of parts; this was before Chinese or replica parts were rampant amongst the car scene. Being honest, not too many people were pouring this kind of money into S15’s at the time either.
Ah yes, the Rps13….. a chassis know to pretty much any person who has an interest in Japanese cars, otherwise referred to as the 180sx or the 200sx/240 depending on where you are reading this from. This chassis was made for ten years and has dominated the drift scene for pretty much the same amount of time. I have no doubts that the RPs13 will have as much of a cult following for the next thirty years as the AE86 following has shaped into at the minute, both cars are perfect mascots for the activity we love so much…. The s13 chassis is easily one of the best FR platforms to ever come out of Japan.
