Let’s kick things off again with part two of last years BBQ. Like I said in the previous post, we cram as many images as we can into these articles, mainly because the quality of cars that attend the BBQ is truly incredible. We want to show as much of what made it to the event as we can. It’s always a reminder of the thriving Irish car scene.
So as I stated in the first post, this was a considerably good night at Daikoku and felt like a split feature was worth the effort.
The wait was over, after a failed attempt to get into Daikoku on the previous night, we were adamant to make it here for a Saturday night no matter what. We hung around in the Up Garages close by and made our way towards Daikoku around 9 PM to get an early spot.
Where to begin really? This whole thing started as an idea few weeks back, well a concrete idea that is. This plan literally fell into place in less than ten days.

I’m certain quite a lot of people know this car by now, maybe in its former blue attire, or maybe from a recent video which we put together for Juicebox called “The Night Life”, either way this is the first time we have done a re feature of a car. We decided that the car deserved a second chance to be talked about on the website, and at this time probably wont understand.
The life not too many people understand or get outside of the car world.
Finding an s13 like this in Ireland has started to get rare. Years ago the streets were flooded with s-bodies; everyone and their friend drove a Silvia or a 180sx. The recession kicked in and many who drove these cars were out of work and out of money. This led to a sudden change in the value of these cars, which inevitably led to them, being butchered. Ask yourself, how many nice s13’s are on the road today? On top of that how many of these cars are still daily driven?
Apologies for not making it to the drift practice in Mondello, I’ve missed about 3 of them now and this one was because of some medical problems… next time will be a video like this hopefully! Check the A31 in California! That’s the start of it now…
