You’ve probably arrived here after watching the recent Juicebox video. Eamons car is another local machine, long overdue some attention both on here and on Youtube. The problem is when your friends have these remarkable cars, You always leave them on the back burner. There’s no sense of urgency to do photoshoots as you think they will be around forever.
We take a closer look at this rowdy perfectly styled BN sports kitted R32 Skyline Sedan
Just by pure chance after the shoot with the AE111 Levin, a fog rolled in that evening and Barry had just put the finishing touches on his freshly painted R32 Skyline. We were cooking on the BBQ and I felt it would be rude not to grab some shots of this beauty while we had such an epic background.
The 32 skyline has to be one of the nicest pieces of eye candy to ever come from Japan…. so little is needed to create such a timeless look..Those classic tails, one of the most iconic rear ends known to the car scene worldwide…. Much of the mature generation was introduced to it Via car games outside of Japan, and the younger Via the internet and another feeding of car games…. I’ve always had an insane fondness towards the HCR32, its like the misfit little brother of the GTR… On a casual cold night I tracked down one of the nicer local examples for a quick photoshoot….
The R32 is by far one of the most popular cars to come out of Japan. The BNR32GTR is by far one of the best cars ever made; it was almost unbeaten in the N1 category in Japan during its reign of terror. The car really pushed what was possible handling and electronics wise at that time. What is so good about this R32 Skyline is that it started life as an a lower base model, the GTS-T sporting an RB20DET and a Rear wheel drive setup. The lower model R32’s always lived in the shadow of the higher spec GTR model amongst hardcore Skyline Fans, but that didn’t stop anyone’s visions of creating the perfect R32 without having a GTR. This GTS-T was torn down and rebuilt from the ground up.
Some of you may have seen this photo before of this rear end tucked 32 drifting at Hiroshima At least once a week because I’m a sad individual I find myself going back and staring at this picture, I really just love how nuts this 32 looks with the drag wing, VIP wheels with white centers and the drag wing and for some strange reason the GT bonnet seems to add to the look!
Its hard to beat the looks of “Team A Bo Moon” and their four door hcr32’s. A video that never gets old from Drift Tengoku volume 15
