Carelessness is great enemy

Its amazing just how good the older generation of Toyota’s have aged, with everything being so mass produced these days and designed by a team or panel, the older more humble econo cars of the eighties with their simplistic designs for some reason get better with age. Who would have thought a Corolla wagon would have this much of a presence thirty two years later with the addition of a few bits and pieces?

This example has flared arches and a single straight can on the back, a fresh import from the land that has being doing this forever this mixed shoe Toyota was a sight to behold.

Under the bonnet lurks a trusty 4AG-E with some silicon leads mated to a T50 gear box. The corolla has been converted to an AE86 power steering rack and power steering knuckles for extra lock.

Fresh from Japan the car has a few stories id imagine and a couple of stickers to go with it… The questionable dildo shift knob and a gathering of Omori Gauges.
“Carelessness is great enemy”

The carpets have been removed and this wagon is track ready, its been fitted with an Omp deep dish wheel and a Rev clock lurks in the background.

A pretty badass aftermarket fuel tank has been fitted into the space at the rear…

The subtle attention to detail is awesome. Check the side lights! I’m a big fan of the flared arch look and was pleased to hear the KE sits on TRD shocks with SSR meshes at the rear and coilovers up front with Watanabes up front.

The Japanese quad front end light setup is simply candy to the eye, being a super over the top fan of Japanese cars, especially eighties models I couldn’t help but stare at this like a small child and get excited over the stupid things, like random stickers ill probably never understand.

A more or less stock bodied exterior with the appropriate ride heigh and some bad ass wheels + chin spoiler,  style and character that will be 100 times more appealing than most cars that exist today is the answer… You would wonder if Toyota realised what they were onto with this chassis, or how cool it would look when the Japanese car scene started to play with it…

What an awesome fucking car.
