Event: Juicebox BBQ: The Squeeze 2011

So we decided to get a bunch of friends together and have a Juicebox BBQ, a sort of thank you to everyone who has been down for the website and what we are doing over the last year or so. Things have been growing strongly with the site and its scary to think of just many people are down with the Box. The weather was on our side in what has to have been the worst summer in a very long time but we managed to get a good cross section of cars which that pretty much represented what the website is all about. As someone stated in the comments from the heatwave coverage, here at Juicebox were all about Photoshopped wheels on second hand cars from a dealership. Take a look and you will see what we mean.

The level of cars that showed up was truly awesome, we sent the invites out a little late due to the dodgy weather but people made the effort and besides, who can say know to free burgers and Capri suns!

Flame grilled food poison! The burgers were good, especially with some magical relish sauce. Luckily no one came nocking on the door.

The variety was the best part. From VZR’s to MK1 Caddys.

Davey recently purchased Paddy from speedhunters Caddy van which I’m sure many of you know by now.

We need to add a Juicebox sticker to this!

This Corolla is awesome, it goes to show what a little imagination can do to a car.

Ross made the trip from cork in what has to be one of the best looking EF9’s around.

He even brought a friend.

Sharpie awesomeness

The two black evil ep91’s were packing some serious heat under the hood!

Maaaaaarch!

I dare you not to smile at this b110 sunny trucks.

Muls Mugen CL7 is such a mean looking car.

I was surprised at how many EP91’s showed up, I have to admit usually I’m not the biggest fan of these cars, mainly because there is so many bad ones driving around After the BBQ i was having serious second thoughts as every one that showed up was proper.

Like this little beast, which started my whole love for them. I have been trying to track this down for a photoshoot for quite some time now and it magically appeared at the BBQ. THis thing is nuts.

Six pots on a starlet anyone?

Insane engine build… more on this car real soon.

Such a sexy Kouki back end.

This Laurel is too good. Feature coming soon.

Love the meshes on this rps13.

Evans little mini sitting on Alley cats always makes people smile.

SE37k’s with peeping Brembos.

What a beast.

When Daves not driving his minter starlet you might find him in this!

Reubens newly acquired Ke70 is so damn good. Rota even managed to pull of a proper good looking replica, which are perfect for hitting off of things without feeling too bad.

This is a lot lower in real life believe me, what a cool car.

Remember this from Donedeal with s2000 lights? It was about to be killed but was saved in the nick of time and removed of its abortion back lights that were probably a joke by a friend back in Japan. Awesome, because its actually a nice s14.

Barry’s flawless EK9…

Needs to challenge Willy’s AE86 on the Touge in initial D.

Jzx100 anyone?

Thank Bryan for buying burgers and thank Bryan for not being a lazy shit and putting his really nice AE86 outside for people to drool on.

13,14,15….

Adrian’s Shino Kouba 2door is too damn nice.

I’m glad he made it down to show off one of the meanest looking AE86’s ever.

It recently underwent a heart transplant but seems to be making a full recovery.

Alans 14 gets better every time you look at it.

Teejay took over food poison duties.

John showed up in his beautiful 2 door Trueno.

Showing off his even more impressive engine bay.

Has to be one of the sickest Polo’s in the south of Ireland.

10 out of ten for the wheel choice colour and finish.

I’m sure everyone knows Jackies EG by now.

Robbies newly acquired DC2 was looking stunning with its reconditioned matt grey Desmond Regamaster’s.

I’m sure there is a better word then stunning for Nicky’s Trueno. What a car.

At the other end of the spectrum Grahams Corrado can have the same appeal. Such a beautiful example of a future classic. Check the poke on those back Schmidt wheels.

Nickys brother holds down an equally meaty looking Trueno. Two brothers who know how to do a proper 86. I could look at this thing all day.

Grants MK5 is simply flawless looking.

Cheers to everyone that made it to the BBQ. The weather actually liked us on the day and it turned out be a surprisingly good day with a nice turnout of proper cars. Looking for ward to doing this again soon and cheers to everyone who is down for the website and continue to push the Irish car scene in the right direction. As long as you keep that up we will try to cover it!!
