Event: Japfest Carpark watch 2011
It has to be said that Japfest 2011 was such a good day, not because team need for speed came to town… which don’t get me wrong was a good part of it too, the amount of people and cars that showed up was really something. It just goes to show that the scene is still holding it down regardless of this economic bullshit. Everyone should give themselves a pat on the back for effort. The car park usually has just as much interesting machines as the show your attending, that’s why here at Juicebox we love lurking the car park to see what the people are driving.
Firs off was this MK3 Jetta on barreled steels.

This s2000 looked promising wearing a set of polished Regamaster style wheels
This looked like it was right out of a Drift Tengoku
This should have been inside, what a nice truen.. you cant go wrong with equips and a loud colour.
Everytime I see this beauty it makes me sad, On such an awesome car how could these rubbish lights ever appeal to anyone in the slightest?

This 32 was damn cool on the meshes and sitting relatively low. Note the Nismo bonnet lip.
Top marks go to this 32 also. Check the lowness and the delted spoiler. What a cool car slammed on a delicious set of Blitz 03’s.

This was the first time I got the chance to see the Rota version of the TE37v, its a good enough replica and worked well under this 2doors arches. But that Janspoo was killing it.

More Promising looking Honda’s. This coupe looked cool on its Gold Mugen MF8 replica wheels.
This EK3 is headed in the right direction. The colour is actually working against the Regamaster replicas and wheel nuts. Moar low and you have a real winner in the looks division especially with the spoiler setup at the back end.

Say what you will but this EG is awesome. This civic looked like it should have been back in LA at 2 am at an illegal drag race with those steelies and how low it was sitting. It was hard to walk past it without having another look. The BYS spoiler is such a breath of fresh air to see on one of these cars.

I remember seeing this EP82 last year at Japfest, good to see its still going and still wearing the Volk GRN’s.
Yes please, the 32 GTS-t’s for some reason almost holds a similar appeal as a GTR (ill get killed for saying this) just for the simple fact they look so good going sideways with those iconic back lights.
The one thing people might forget about Ireland is the amount of Hondas we seem to have. But the best thing is they have really come on in so many ways over the last few years probbaly forced upon us by the Japanese imports !
