Prodrift Round 3: Citywest carpark watch 2010

Another Irish car event. Another round of prodrift, and another round of car watching. The reason we do this is to show whats going on in the car scene in Ireland from the normal point of view. To see what the people drive. This time there wasnt as much cars in the car parks, or maybe we missed a car park, city west was in sections so it was weird to get around and stuff. Nonetheless, here is another installment of carpark watch.

We will start off with this gem, Some regamaster copy’s branded with a fake spoon logo, and then attached to a Yaris. Too good. Its one thing to have a replica, but definitely scratch that “Spoom” logo off.

Then we turned to the right and this piece of eye candy was chilling in a disabled spot. No matter what even in 50 years time a real BNR32 on some BBS LM’s will always be a winning combination.

We hit the first car park and this was the first thing to grab anyone’s attention. What can we say really, without being negative?

Type-R? Im afraid not. I really have no idea how anyone could like a bonnet that looks like a melted crabs arse.

Gotta have the essential gap for the fuel tank.

Id imagine this car was done a few years ago. Either way alot of work went into making this filler mobile. Its insane becuase the colour is amazing and instantly reminds me of this. The currency could have definitely been spent well.
Maybe Someday when people go all out, it will be on the right path….

Shiny new front mount?

This would look amazing that little bit lower.

This Clean rps13 seems to be at most carparks we visit haha.

The legnum vr-4 is a bit of a champion. This one even had a cage.

A tidy e30. These look so damn good with some wheel action going on.

You certainly cant go wrong with some Volk GT-C wheels with gold spokes and a chrome lip. A better wheel fitment and this s15 would be having a good time.

Im so happy I finally got to see this amazing piece of engrish in real life. I hope the owner enjoys it as much as I do and never takes it off. Crazy Japanese people.

I couldn’t get in at this s15, but this picture will do just fine.

This R32 was at punchestown and looks so nice. Its clean and simple on some classic BBS RM rims. I hate to say it again, but a little more in the low side of things and some spacers and this would be one aggressive cool r32 that could be achieved so easily.

These Holden ute’s are intense looking.

Another super clean r32.

A cool little ep91 rockingย a bride and some enkei rs rims. I love these wheels in that anodized red and black colour way.

I could look at these rears all day. (lame joke)

A cool little Vitz rs. Wish it had some real Advan rg2’s then it would be proper.

Looks like someone got fruity with some Halfords fluorescent orange. Even the plastic dustcaps got it.

A nice low clean looking eg is always good.

The super advans are definitely either a love/hate wheel. The same goes for the c-west bumper. A bit more work on this ek and I think it might actually pull it off.

Rough and ready in a good way. Love this skyline.

Ah yes. The Paddi-flush.

Shit what rims are they? If you dont know, now you know.

One of the only new cars which actually looks so damn good. Hopefully someone has the currency to do this to one.

This black altezza definitely has alot of potential.

Ah yes, a super clean genuine left hand drive E30M3.

A cool little ef rocking some rota gt3 replica Gab Racing wheels.

Ive seen this at a few things also and its rocking some nice exterior goodies.

Wangan status on this r32.

I love these cars so much. This a31 would be killing it with style if it ditched the coloured wheels bandwagon and had a better stance. What a car nonetheless.

An fd3s on super advans… need I say more?

Must be parked under a volcano.

So stoked to see a Cedric in Real life. What a large car. Hopefully this is just the start of something amazing.

This car is a prime example of something that’s almost there. Id ditch that Nismo banner and get some serious wheels for this ready to go rps13 and you would have an instant winner.

Some cool stuff lurking in the car park at citywest. We didnt get to make it up saturday, so sorry if there was some cool shit that day, also sorry if we missed another massive car park full of cars, it was a loooong weekend and we were beyond tired arriving on the sunday. Alot of real potential floating around in the country for sure and a lot of already nice cars which is definitely a good thing. Stay tuned for the rest of the coverage, coming real soon.
